I created two sounds for this project. One is the underlying bass-ish one and the other is the melody on top. The drums in this were just a pre-generated FPC track. For the melody all I did was fool around on the black keys at the higher end of the keyboard while recording. Then I made a few simple changes and was all set. I am pleased with the project although this took forever and I was annoyed about that.

im digging this sound. its deep, and the use of the waves almost creates a guitar-like-riff. and the cover synth provides a nice, ecentric mood to the beat. To be honest, im not really liking the ending though. the classic-corny fade away would have worked great with this. but overall this was an amazing track.
ReplyDeleteWoah, the beginning sound is really cool :) It gives off this dark, creepy kind of vibe - which isn't a bad thing. I also really like the background sounds, it fits great! Also, I'm kind of split over my opinion over you're ending. Half of me likes it the way it is, whereas the other half of me agrees with Joe, that the fade away would have fit perfect. Anyways, nice piece! :)
ReplyDeleteThe good projects always take time. :-) I like the creepy sounding progression, and the melody that you came up with ion the keyboard.. The pitch bend sound is perfect for this mood.
